Dear Camp Family,
On behalf of the Board of Directors and the Camp Staff, I want to thank you for such an overwhelming, positive and heartfelt response to Wednesday’s announcement that Camp Bernadette and Camp Fatima will close their gates this summer. Your notes of understanding, thanks, prayers, and offers to help have been uplifting and very much appreciated. It is truly a testimony to our camp community and the love that we all share for our beautiful summer camps.
We understand that many of you may be suffering because of this pandemic. Whether you lost a loved one, were sick with this terrible illness, lost your job, or affected in any way please know we are sorry and that we are praying for you always. This unprecedented situation has left many of us anxious and fearful of what may lie ahead and, for this reason we are committed to helping our camp families in any way possible.
With this in mind, there is some additional information we would like to share regarding refunds and tuition for next year. If you carry your tuition over to 2021 and then lose your job because of COVID19, you will receive a full refund, should you need to cancel. In addition, if you find yourself in financial hardship between now and next summer for any reason, please contact us and we will make every effort towork with you to make sure your child can still attend camp, through our financial aid and scholarship programs.
Although we continue to ask for Our Lady’s intercession for our camp community, we remain thankful always to God for the many blessings he bestows, especially the blessing of camp.
Sincerely yours in Christ,
David A. Thibault
Superintendent of Catholic Schools
President, Camp Board of Directors
Community Update: Camp Closed to Visitors During Non-Business Hours Until Further Notice
In an effort to stop the spread of COVID-19, and for safety reasons, we ask that you please refrain from visiting Camp Fatima or Camp Bernadette during this time. Access to the property is restricted to authorized personnel only, and both camps are locked with gates to restrict access during non-business hours. We thank you for your understanding and we will be sure to let you know when we are able to welcome visitors back to our grounds.
