Food & Wellness
What’s for Dinner?
All the fresh air and activity can work up quite an appetite! Our cooks are ready and waiting with meals that are healthy, fresh, and right out of the oven. Breakfast may be pancakes and sausage, or eggs & hash browns. Cold cereal and fruit are always available. Lunch could be pizza, hot dogs/hamburgers, grilled cheese and tomato soup. Dinner features kid favorites such as spaghetti and meatballs, our special Taco Tuesdays, turkey dinner, roast pork, and more. A salad bar and peanut butter & jelly sandwiches are always available during our lunch and dinner. We can also accommodate special diets (diabetic, gluten intolerance, vegetarian, peanut allergy, etc.) with advance notice. Our camps use a food service caterer that is also used by many schools throughout the region.
Health & Safety
The health and safety of your children is our top priority. Both camps have nurses on the camp property throughout the entire summer. Our health centers are fully stocked with first aid supplies and equipment, including AEDs. All over-the-counter and camper medication is stored and administered from the health center, and beds are available in the health center for longer stays. If your child needs to stay overnight in our health center or be seen by a physician, we will always notify you. In case of emergency, local EMS response time to either camp is about 5-10 minutes. Huggins Hospital in Wolfeboro is about 10 minutes from Bernadette while Concord Hospital in Concord is about 25 minutes from Fatima.
Our lifeguards are Red Cross certified and many of our staff have basic first aid and CPR training.
